Description

1955 Film starring James Dean.  After arriving in a new town, troublesome teen Jim Stark (Dean) is supposed to have a fresh start, although being the new kid in town brings its own issues. While searching for some stability in his life, Stark forms a close friendship with a disturbed classmate, Plato (Sal Mineo), and falls for a girl named Judy (Natalie Wood). However, Judy is the girlfriend of neighborhood tough guy, Buzz (Corey Allen). When Buzz violently confronts Jim and challenges him to a drag race, the new kid in town’s real troubles begin.
